Kitset Sheds Ltd is an independent, privately owned and operated shed company based in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty. We are not tied to a large, shed franchise or one of the many new startups attempting nationwide reach. We are a well-established business, growing in a sound and reliable manner while staying true to our core values customer service and quality.
With industry experience dating back to 2004, we have been building and supplying true high-quality steel frame sheds and garages at competitive prices.
It started in 2002 when I purchased a large steel frame kitset shed for a personal business project. By 2004, I was working full-time in the industry as a contract shed builder for a large Australian shed company.
Over the following years, my construction team grew to keep up with demand, building sheds for several franchise companies. This gave us extensive first-hand experience seeing what works well — and more importantly, what doesn’t. We identified design limitations and consistently saw a gap in customer service from high-volume, sales-driven shed companies.
From that knowledge and experience, Kitset Sheds Ltd was built with a clear goal: to deliver better sheds, smarter designs, and a higher standard of service.
I’m Paul Williams, owner-operator and experienced shed builder. I run KSL from my hometown of Tauranga, delivering kitset sheds and full turnkey builds across the Bay of Plenty and throughout New Zealand.
We are fully committed to customer service and quality. When you deal with us, you’re not dealing with a salesperson — you’re dealing directly with an experienced, hands-on shed builder who is still actively involved and stands behind both the product and the outcome.
If you choose to have us install your building, you’ll be working with experienced, friendly builders who genuinely care about workmanship and the final result.
We own our own earthmoving, concreting, and building equipment, allowing us to complete your entire project to a high standard. We also have a trusted network of contacts across New Zealand — many with full construction equipment packages — enabling us to deliver turnkey shed builds from site preparation right through to Code of Compliance across most regions.
We are committed to customer service and quality. If you choose to have us install your building, you will be treated to experienced friendly builders who care about the standard of workmanship and the overall outcome for you. We own our own earthmoving machinery, concreting and building equipment and are able to complete the entire project for you to a very high standard.
