Kitset Sheds buildings are the Highest quality Kitset Shed in New Zealand designed to and comply with AS/NZS 1170:2002, NZS 4203:1992 and AISI "LRFD cold formed steel design Manual" 1991 and the NZBC.

Our sheds are clad with Colorsteel Endura or Zincalume sheeting which has a minimum standard of ISO 9001:2000 and comes with a 15 year warranty when maintained to New Zealand Steel recommendations. All parts of the building are made from New Zealand Steel and have Galvanised coating of 275 gm/m2.

Footings and slab designs are in accordance with AS3600 and have safe bearing capacity of 100kPa minimum .

The bracing used in the roof, side walls and end walls of our sheds is high tensile 60mm galvanised strap.

Knee and Apex braces are standard in all Kitset Sheds buildings which provides extra strength However we can usually remove them if they restrict usable space .

Kitsetsheds sheds are rated for High Wind Zones and Earthquake Area A. Snow loadings are NOT calculated into our standard kits.

Engineering calculations are prepared by a well established independent Auckland firm and are supplied with all of our sheds.
